This is an essential skill to have in the fashion industry and maybe one of my favourite parts besides illustrations. I really enjoyed learning how to make tech packs and creating specification drawings. I know each company has a different template of the tech pack but the main goal stays the same. I have a good eye for detail and understating of fabric, manufacturing and garment construction. I’m always learning and looking for ways to improve my CAD work.
